BIO

Andrea Frediani, born in 1974, Tuscan designer from Garfagnana who knows and loves to assemble different materials, creates original installations, sculptures, interior design objects, as well as architecture, street furniture, small and large coatings.

Contemporaneity and contamination the two horizons that see Andrea Frediani artistically ranging; his creations contemplate the combination of marble and glass, but also metals such as brass and steel to get to wood and plastic materials. Original creative lines that have in nature, but also in mathematics, the figure of what he creates. An artistic sensibility capable of looking to the future is born.

His start to design was in 2010 when he became assistant to the artist and designer Andrea Salvetti, known in Europe and the United States; it was in his studio that he learned the use and fusion of different materials and artistic techniques of decoration. Thanks to this experience Frediani consolidated his personal path that led him to important works and collaborations in Italy and abroad capable of combining art and technology.

The reproduction of movement in marble is one of Frediani’s intuitions that is inspired by plants, trees, insects and the Tuscan seasons that take on unique connotations in Garfagnana. It is the nature of this part of Tuscany that pushes Frediani to ‘question’ the marble thinking about the unique texture that nature offers us.
